How do I get to the housing units?

Car Rental – General Information:

We use the Rentalcars.com portal ourselves

Here, you can choose the car you want from the many affiliated companies listed on the portal.

Spain:

Los Dolses, Bosque, and Zeniamar

The easiest way is to fly to Alicante. Rent a car in advance.

Once you’ve picked up your car, drive south on the country road (you can also take the highway, but it’s longer and you’ll have to pay about 25 kr. in tolls). The drive takes 45 minutes, according to the directions and coordinates in the PDF file, which you’ll always receive.

Alicante, Calle Union

The easiest way is to fly to Alicante and then take a taxi to the accommodation, as parking can be hard to find. You can also take the bus from the airport.

Hacienda Alicante

The easiest way is to fly to Alicante. Rent a car in advance as described above. The rental companies are located in the arrivals hall.

Once you’ve picked up your car, drive into the country on the country road (you can also take the highway, but it’s longer and you’ll have to pay about 25 kr. in tolls). The drive takes 45 minutes, according to the directions and coordinates in the PDF file, which you’ll always receive.

La Cala de Mijas

The easiest way is to fly to Málaga. Rent a car in advance as described above.

Once you've picked up your car, drive west on the highway as described in the PDF.

Maria Rosario and the Palangreros

The easiest way is to fly to Málaga. When you arrive, follow the signs for the train. The train departs from the airport, and when you arrive in Fuengirola 35 minutes later, you can walk the last 200–500 meters to the accommodations.

If you arrive after the trains have stopped running (late at night), take a taxi.

Renting a car doesn't make sense since you can't park.

Hacienda Competa.

Fly to Málaga, rent a car, and drive to Competa—about 45 minutes.

France:

Cannes and Vence

Use the Nice airport. You can get to Cannes by train; our accommodation is located a short distance past Cannes, where there is a train stop. You can also rent a car, as there is a parking space attached to the accommodation (please note that the parking space is very narrow).

You can get to Vence by bus from the airport. You can also rent a car, as there is a parking lot on site.

Sainte-Maxime

Fly into Nice or Marseille, or drive there. Rent a car and drive to the Sainte-Maxime vacation rental. Use the parking lot located at the highest point, since that way you won’t have to climb many stairs—instead, you can walk down to the vacation rental.

Paris

You can fly into Charles de Gaulle, take the train to Gard du Nord, and then transfer to another train to Enghien-Les-Bains. The apartment is about a 2-minute walk from there. Parking near the apartment can be hard to find, so we recommend using public transportation.

Germany:

Goslar

Drive from Denmark. There are parking options at both properties.

Taking the train is also an option, as the train station is located about 500 meters from Breitestrasse and 1.5 km from Reitstallweg.

Croatia – Karin Bay:

For both houses, you'll need a car. You can either drive there or fly to, say, Zadar and then rent a car from there.

Italy:

Piedmont – Orsara Bormida, Montegrosso, Sessame

All vacation rentals in Piedmont require a car. You can either fly to Turin or Milan, or drive directly from Denmark.

Lake Maggiore – Baveno, Oggebbio

There are several airports in northern Italy that can be used: Bergamo, Turin, and Milan.

Baveno is located near the train station, so you can take the train there.

You need a car to get to Oggebio.

Lake Garda – Soiano del Lago, Torri del Benaco

You can fly to airports in northern Italy, such as Bergamo, Turin, and Milan. You'll need to rent a car.
