The southern Costa Blanca is the warmest area on the European mainland during winter. There are about 340 sunny days, and temperatures typically reach 20 degrees Celsius at midday in winter. The area boasts beautiful, wide sandy beaches where you can swim almost all year round. However, winter bathing with cold water is not an option.
The Bosque apartment is located approximately 3 kilometers from the two holiday homes in Los Dolses and about 6 kilometers from La Zenia town and beach. There is also a driving distance to larger cities nearby, such as Murcia, Elche, Alicante, and Cartagena. Alicante airport is around 50 minutes away. The area offers excellent opportunities for cycling and scenic walks along the water. Restaurant prices are very low, so you can enjoy a lovely three-course dinner for between 10-12 euros, including half a bottle of wine. Additionally, there are five golf courses in the area.
