The mountains in Northern Italy are something special. The accommodation is centrally located in Folgarida, just a few minutes’ walk to the nearest ski lift that takes you to Marilleva. This ski area is connected to Madonna di Campiglio via a ski lift, so you can take advantage of both areas, which together have about 120 kilometers of slopes.
Folgarida is a small town in the Italian Dolomites. The town is 3½ hours from Milan airport and 1½ hours from Bolzano airport. In the town of Folgarida, there are 5 restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but if you want a slightly larger selection, the town of Dimaro is 15 minutes away by car, and if you want to visit a larger city, the town of Trento is an hour’s drive from Folgarida. The area around Folgarida is rich in activities both in summer and winter. In winter, it’s most obvious to take advantage of the many ski resorts, but in summer, the area offers activities such as hiking, river rafting, and mountain biking. The lifts used in winter to transport skiers up to the slopes are used in summer to transport people up the mountain where there are plenty of opportunities for mountain biking and beautiful hikes, or you can enjoy the fantastic views, and the melted snow forms beautiful lakes in the mountain area.
