The mountains in Northern Italy are something truly special. This ski area is connected to Madonna di Campiglio via ski lift, so you can use both areas, which together have about 120 kilometers of slopes. Folgarida is a small town in the Italian Dolomites. The town is 3.5 hours from Milan airport and 1.5 hours from Bolzano airport. In the town of Folgarida, there are 5 restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but if you want a slightly larger selection, the town of Dimaro is 15 minutes away by car. If you want to visit a larger city, the town of Trento is an hour’s drive from Folgarida.
The area around Folgarida is rich in activities both in the summer and winter. In the winter, the most obvious thing to do is to use the many ski resorts, but in the summer, the area offers activities such as hiking, river rafting, and mountain biking. The lifts that are used in the winter to transport skiers up to the slopes are used in the summer to transport people up the mountain where there are plenty of opportunities for mountain biking and beautiful hikes, or you can simply enjoy the fantastic view, and the melted snow forms beautiful lakes in the mountain area.
